Our story

Ellie’s Safe House is a community-run project founded in association with The Ellie Soutter Foundation.  Our aim is to provide a compassionate ear and to support you in finding the help you need within your community.  Providing frequent workshops for children and young adults, we will hold your hand and help you find the appropriate professional help.  Through Ellie’s Safe House you will find compassion, non-judgment and a friendly ear to be listened to.

It can be hard to know where to start to help yourself if you are struggling with your mental health, or perhaps you are watching a loved one and don’t know how you can help.  We can support you to take those first steps.  All of our listeners are ENSA qualified Mental Health First Aiders.  Ellie’s Safe House will help you with your mental wellbeing and support you to find the help that you need.
